What is tallow?

Beef tallow is one of the most skin‑compatible moisturizers on earth. Its structure closely mirrors our own natural sebum, allowing it to absorb effortlessly and support the skin’s built‑in processes of hydration, repair, and protection. Tallow is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, and B1, and these nutrients are essential for healthy skin, cellular renewal, and long-lasting resilience.

Two powerhouse fatty acids make tallow especially effective:

  • Stearic acid which strengthens the skin barrier, locks in moisture, and helps lift away dirt, sweat, and excess oils.
  • Linoleic acid which is known for its calming, anti‑inflammatory properties, making tallow a favorite among people managing eczema, acne, and irritated skin.

In a world full of harsh chemicals and synthetic creams, tallow offers a return to simple, time‑tested skincare, the kind our grandparents trusted, rooted in nature and aligned with how God designed our skin and bodies to thrive.

What is our process?

We craft our tallow products using suet sourced directly from our own family’s cattle farm, ensuring unmatched purity, freshness, and traceability from the very beginning. This suet is the most nutrient‑dense fat on the animal, and we render it slowly at low temperatures to preserve its natural vitamins and fatty acids. The result is clean tallow, free from impurities and harsh processing. For our whipped tallow, once rendered, we cool and mix the tallow into a soft, airy texture, creating a moisturizer that spreads smoothly and absorbs effortlessly into the skin. To enhance its benefits, we blend in a few intentional ingredients: high quality essential oils for natural scent and added skin support, and organic olive oil to improve glide, softness, and antioxidant richness. Every ingredient has a purpose, and nothing unnecessary is ever added, just simple, nourishing skincare made with care.

How should you use it?

Our whipped tallow is designed to be as versatile as it is nourishing. You can use as much as you like, though we recommend applying it at least once a day for best results. Because it’s incredibly rich, a little goes a long way, so start with a small amount and add more as needed. It can be applied anywhere on the body, including the face, hands, feet, lips, and even sensitive areas. Store it at room temperature to maintain its whipped texture, and warm a bit between your fingers before applying for an even smoother glide.

I’m glad to be able to try the different tallow butters using this bundle. I bought Forest Blend, Unscented and Citrus. So far I have only used the Forest Blend. It has a smoky, woodsy, comforting scent. Very nice. The butter is very soothing and moisturizing, a little goes a long way. I’m looking forward to trying the other two. Especially the unscented for my face as I have sensitive skin.

I received the unscented lip balm instead of the peppermint but as it was a free gift with purchase I’m not complaining. So my review is for the unscented and it’s great! The tube is easy to use and the amount of product is generous. A little goes a long way, feels great on my lips and the moisturizing lasts quite a long time.

A Miracle Balm

I am new to using tallow for skin care and absolutely love it! I use Whipped Tallow cream everywhere. It is the most effective skin softener I have ever used. What I like most about this product is that it does not have any oily residue or offensive odor. It is a little thick, but only takes some rubbing between your fingers to soften it, then apply anywhere you need lotion. It also works very well as a treatment for my Eczema. I don't have an extreme case, but it will heal the dry patches almost over night.

Luxury in a bar!

This is an absolutely wonderful soap, at least to me. It lathers up quickly without being overwhelming and leaves zero residue. Clean, fresh skin is what is left behind. The scent is soft, very pleasant, and will not cling to you. Tallow soap is now the only soap I will use. Since I have a mild case of Eczema, my skin dries out very easily, and the tallow soap leaves me clean and fresh without drying out my skin.

Best Tallow!

I first bought a jar of this tallow when we were in Harrisonburg, Va for a visit in one of the local shops. I loved it immediately, but when I ran out, I tried others. This is my favorite tallow out of the few others I tried. Love the texture (not too whipped, but not too tight either.) Love the smell and the price is very competitive with others online.
